Have you been trying to find the perfect store to buy extra small clothes that fit you well? It can be extremely frustrating to go from one store to another trying on clothes that just don't fit right...
Stores and Websites with XS clothing
Here's (the start of) a list of stores that carry Extra Small clothing that usually fit well:
- JC Penneys - usually carries XS clothing that is very small, especially the tops - and they're very friendly priced! Jeans and trousers are a little bigger, but still work fine.
- Hollister - great store for trendy surf-style clothes. Carry a lot of extra small clothes for petite girls like you and I. But it's a little more expensive than JC Penneys.
- Aeropostale - One of my favorite stores to buy extra small clothes because they usually fit very well AND are not expensive.
- H&M - Great fit, great pricing. They have a lot of stores in Europe and are (finally!) gaining popularity in the United States.
- Abercrombie and Fitch
- Papaya SKINNY LEGS??? Shop here!!! All their XS stuff is extremely small.

Certain stores carry XS sizes that usually are not very small. It's very frustrating to keep going to stores that only cary big clothing. So here's (the start of a) list with stores to avoid:

This is a great website. I am 4’11, 95 lbs and am 20 years old. It is very very hard to find clothes to fit both my short legs and thin waist. JC Penny’s is a great place to shop and I like how you have included that in the site. This is a wonderful and helpful site!
I have often been frustrated with Express, Limited and many others whose sizes xs or zeros are more like medium or size 6! I find it ridiculous that even designers such as Donna Karan etc. size 0 are quite big. They love to use ultra-thin models on the runway but those models would NEVER fit into any of the off the rack sizes of these designers … they would be swimming in those size zeros! Great site here though! By the way, I often see very small Asian girls who have clothing that seem to fit them perfectly…I often wonder where the heck they are finding their small small clothing!
Wet Seal has a size 00 skinny jean that is truley a 00 and xs tops that are xs
Buckle has size 23 jeans, pretty small in most styles but the xs tops are too big
BeBe has a lot of xs cloths but very pricey, clearance is about the only thing I buy there
Dicky sporting goods have a few xs in rebok and nike but each style verys in fit.
victorias secret has 32 a and 32 b bras that fit pretty weel and don’t look like training bras! But most of the xs panties are toooo big

I’d recommend John Lewis! The first shop where XS was too small!!! And where all clothes FITTED and didnt just HANG :(

Hmmmm..thats a tough one but maybe hot topiic might have…but no its pretty big. maybe you could take some of your clothes and give them to a tailer or try to shrink them in the wash

I’m having trouble finding a place that sells elastic belts small enough though. My waist is 62cm and most belts start at 71cm.
For all you Boston area tiny women, I just wanted to tell you that I think being thin is petite is the most attractive type of woman…so here is one man who does not think like the others…curvy and tall is not my thing…petite and small is :)

Do NOT bother with LaRedoute online. They say that they do UK size 4 with 31″-32″ tops. But they are actually more like 36″.
Tesco, as with other super markets in the UK are occasionally ok but mostly make their UK size 6 (their smallest size) as 34″+.
H&M is fab – their UK 6 is 32″ and their XS is 32″-34″ (which isn’t ideal but better than elsewhere). Waists do vary but generally H&M is my clothing saviour.

At JC penny, aeropostal and hollister, they have xs size but they shirts and sweater are still long and big for me. Who are in the same situation?? I’d really like to dress fashion like the others girls but most of the time is not possible.

How about listing some stores that don’t make me look 15? I’m 23 and 5’0 / 90lbs and I already have a hard time with people taking me seriously at work, so I have stopped shopping at abercrombie and hollister and aeropostale…h&m has different brands and its like saying century 21 has small sizes, they might not.
Hi, Ally! I have the same problem and I’m 55, 5’3″ and 92 lbs. Victoria’s Secret on-line has been a lifesaver for me. They have wonderful sales and clothing that isn’t styled for teens! For jeans/everyday kind of clothing, I’ve ordered from American Eagle on-line (they carry size 00/Short); Victoria’s Secret carries jeans, but only down to size 0/Short. Amer. Eagle has casual pants that aren’t real trendy, so I’ve ordered these, also.

I’m 55 yrs. old, 5’3″ and 92 lbs. Finding clothing that fits well has been very difficult…most is styled for teens/young
women. For dress/professional clothing, I’ve had great success with Victoria’s Secret on-line (size 0/Short, works well). The prices run a full spectrum, but they have frequent, major sales! Their tops tend to run very small, my size A top doesn’t fit into their XS, I need size S.
For jeans, I LOVE American Eagle on-line. Its the only site that I’ve found jeans & casual pants in size 00/Short and they’re perfect…prices are great, too.
