Do men like naturally thin women?

Pinterest

YES - the right man for you will!! I just came across this Yahoo question by a naturally thin girl, and some of the answers are just SO dissapointing. I wish we could just respect and embrace all body types - without putting one type down!
I've been naturally thin my entire life, and trust me - there are PLENTY guys interested in me! Being thin does not equal anorexic or ugly. If you feel good about yourself, other people won't have a choice but to do the same!

I just wish this girl will understand it too:

"Maybe I'm just being insecure here, but I've always been naturally thin. I'm 5'7" and weigh around 110 to 115 pounds on average. I eat what I want, I exercise regularly, and I don't really go out of my way to maintain or change how I look. It's just how I am by nature.I keep reading articles about how men think skinny women are undesirable, unattractive, and how most if not all would prefer a size 14 instead of a size 6. I'm a size 2, so I guess I'm on the glaring end of spectrum as far as sexiness goes. The thing is, I have a defined waist. My hips are wide, they aren't boy hips. I have small breasts, but they are proportionate. I like the way I look but I am constantly told by people that I am anorexic, too skinny, need to eat more, and don't have any curves. I just don't understand why people attack thin women so much. Do men really think thin is gross? I have an Audrey Hepburn body type, but would every man reallt prefer a thicker woman like Marilyn Monroe?"

Thin does not equal gross. Keep liking the way you look!

Don't listen to the people who try to put you down - it says more about their self esteem than your beauty.

Don't compare yourself to other women or other bodytypes.

You are who you are, accept it, embrace it, and love it.

Others will have no choice but to follow your lead! :)

Most of the put down comments are probably from other women who aren’t so thin so they want to put them down in order to make themselves feels better. Most guys love thin women. It’s the ideal, afterall.

Oh, this poor girl should not have turned to Yahoo for answers. Yahoo is notorious for its skinny-bashing articles as well as its trolls.

There are guys who love naturally thin women and prefer them over the “thicker” set. Just like there are guys who prefer redheads over blonds or Latinas over Asians. Saying “guys only like one thing” is like saying “everyone only likes chocolate ice cream”. We women have our preferences in what we find physically attractive; why shouldn’t it be the same for guys? For instance: I have a pixie haircut. I have had guy friends outright tell me that they hate it and they want me to grow it back out. I’ve had other guys tell me that it looks fantastic on me and it brings out my facial features. These are different preferences! Just because the “average guy” may prefer long hair and big boobs doesn’t mean there aren’t guys who love the opposite on a woman!

Anyone who says NO men EVER like thin women is full of it. I am 5’2″ and have never weighed more than 100 lbs, and I’ve never had trouble attracting men. And yes, they were attractive, straight, well-endowed, and not shallow bastards, to put to rest the stereotypes about men who are attracted to thin women. Ofcourse, because of what the asshats in my life would have had me believe, I alway thought men were attracted to me in spite of my body type, until I met my current boyfriend, who quietly told me he was tired of the typical larger Midwestern girl body type. It just doesn’t do it for some guys, and he is one of them. Men are hesitant to admit it, for fear of being jumped on as creepy sickos who are attracted to eating disorders. Anyone who tells you that men don’t find thin women attractive is A. An insecure man who doesn’t think he is worthy of one, B. An insecure woman who feels threatened by the fact that naturally thin women exist and that men are attracted to them.
